In addition to performing, Rhythm Village contributes to music education through Rhythm Village Australia, founded by Josh Oshlack. Biography: Rhythm Village was conceived around the belief that rhythm can unite people from diverse backgrounds. Discography Highlights: The group released the Naamu EP in 2005, a cornerstone of their early explorations, followed by The Rhythm Village Compilation in 2015, featuring collaborations and live performances that showcase their evolving sound. A notable 2025 single, “Can’t Go On Like This,” earned a Milwaukee radio premiere, highlighting the band’s ongoing relevance in contemporary roots music.

Awards & Recognition: Rhythm Village earned an Edison Award nomination for Naamu in 2023 and received the 2024 Brightest & Best Business Award from Waverley Council for Childcare & Education, reflecting their impact in both music and community programs.

Upcoming Tour 2025 (U.S.): Rhythm Village has a Wisconsin-focused itinerary with three confirmed dates in Milwaukee-area venues: May 30, 2025 at Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co; October 17, 2025 at Linneman’s Riverwest Inn; December 19, 2025 at Ope Brewing Co.
