Richard Todd is a renowned French horn soloist whose virtuosity has captivated audiences at some of the world’s most prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, the Sydney Opera House, and Walt Disney Concert Hall. A Gold medal winner at the 1980 Concours International Toulon and recipient of the Pro Musicis International Foundation Award, Todd has built a storied career spanning classical and jazz genres. He served as the longtime principal horn of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra for 35 years and remains a dynamic presence in both orchestral and solo performance circles. As Associate Professor of Horn at the Frost School of Music, University of Miami, Todd inspires the next generation of horn players while continuing to perform and record.
