The Risor Chamber Music Festival, founded in 1991 by Bernt Lauritz Larsen and Lars Anders Tomter, has grown into a premier event on the classical music calendar. The 2025 edition (No. 35) ran June 24–29, 2025, delivering nearly 40 concerts and events across Risør’s venues, including the 17th-century Risør Church and Stangholmen Lighthouse.
