Roberto Cacciapaglia is a visionary Italian composer and performer whose work spans contemporary classical, electronic textures, and immersive live experiences. Born in Milan on December 28, 1959, he rose to prominence through collaborations with prestigious ensembles and groundbreaking projects that fuse orchestration with modern sound design. His career highlights include collaborations with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on Quarto Tempo (2007) and Canone degli Spazi (2009), as well as composing music for Expo Milano 2015 (Tree of Life). In 2024, he released the Time to Be project with Virgin Music Group. A recipient of the 2023 Montale Prize, Cacciapaglia continues to push the boundaries of music with festival appearances, BBC Four features, and world premieres such as Incipit / Moz-Art K.488 ReComposed in 2024.
