Rory Makem carries a storied Irish folk tradition forward as a singer, songwriter, and performer. Son of the legendary Tommy Makem and grandson of Sarah Makem, Rory grew up immersed in traditional tunes, storytelling, and a deep connection to the Irish music scene. He began performing with The Makem Brothers alongside his siblings, later joining Makem & Spain, and launched a solo career around 2014. Today, Rory harmonizes heritage with contemporary expression, bringing warmth, rhythm, and a genuine voice to stages across the country.
