Rude Dude and The Creek Freaks launched in 2016 in Savannah, GA as a three-piece and grew into a five-piece force by 2018. Blending goth, surf, horror-tinged garage, and psychedelia, they’ve drawn comparisons to surf-punk, Sabbath-era heavy rock, and Cramps-like aesthetics. Their early work set the stage for a moody, high-energy live show that travels from indie grind to cinematic rock textures.

With Graveface Records & Curiosities behind them, the band released their debut album Acid Bath in July 2017, followed by a Southeast tour that summer. Their self-titled LP arrived August 31, 2018, recorded in Athens, GA, further cementing their signature sound and live intensity. After relocating to East Atlanta in 2019, the band has maintained a strong Southeast presence and continued archival and legacy material activity into the mid-2020s.
