Ruidoso Academy of Ballet and Dance Tickets

If you’re looking for solid, approachable dance training in Southern New Mexico, you’ve found the right place. The Ruidoso Academy of Ballet and Dance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2001 to promote broad-based dance education for students across the region. Based at 143 El Paso Rd., Ruidoso, NM 88345, the academy offers a diverse slate of dance genres taught by dedicated instructors and an artistic leadership team that values technique, performance, and community outreach.

Under the direction of Artistic Director Yespari Miller, an international premier danseur with Cuban training and extensive stage experience, the academy provides rigorous instruction in Ballet, Pointe Technique, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Tap. The program emphasizes craftsmanship, artistry, and opportunities to perform—building confidence and a lifelong love of dance.

Looking ahead, the academy’s Nutcracker production is a flagship annual event, drawing a large cast of around 70 dancers and benefiting from generous donations to support performances and competition trips. This year’s Nutcracker will be staged at the Spencer Theater for the Performing Arts in Alto/Spencer, NM, on December 20–21, 2025, with two shows on December 20 (2 PM and 7 PM) and a final performance on December 21 (2 PM).
