Sad Summer Festival is a dynamic, rotating lineup experience that spotlights the best in emo, pop-punk, and alternative rock. Founded in 2019 by Mayday Parade and The Maine—alongside co-founders Mike Marquis, Josh Terry, and Tim Kirch—the festival pairs high-energy live performances with a sense of community and shared purpose. Presented by Journeys and Converse, the festival also champions safety and civic engagement partners like HeadCount, Reverb, and Calling All Crows.
