The Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra (SBSO) is a proud Michigan-based professional ensemble with a rich history dating back to 1935. Born from a Saginaw Department of Parks and Recreation project and incorporated as a nonprofit in 1953, SBSO is a charter member of the American Symphony League. Today, the orchestra draws musicians from across Michigan to perform a diverse repertoire that includes classical, chamber, pops, educational concerts, historical programming, and opera/ballet collaborations.
