The San Diego International Wine Show (SDIWS) is a premier wine and spirits competition rooted in San Diego’s vibrant tasting culture. Founded in 1982 as the San Diego National Wine Competition, it evolved into the San Diego International Wine & Spirits Challenge and now stands as a trusted benchmark for quality across domestic and international producers. Judging is blind, with panels comprising seasoned industry professionals who evaluate entries for Platinum, Gold medals, plus Best of Class and Best of Show awards.
