The Santa Rosa Symphony Youth Orchestra (SRSYO) is one of California's oldest youth orchestras, with a rich history dating back to its formation in October 1959 as the Sonoma County Junior Symphony. In 1994, the ensemble adopted its current name, continuing a tradition of exceptional musical training and performance for young musicians in the Santa Rosa and greater Sonoma County area. SRSYO has earned recognition on national and international stages, including performances at Carnegie Hall and Davies Symphony Hall.
