The Santa Rosa Symphony Youth Orchestra (SRSYO) is one of California's oldest youth orchestras, with a rich history dating back to its formation in October 1959 as the Sonoma County Junior Symphony. In 1994, the ensemble adopted its current name, continuing a tradition of exceptional musical training and performance for young musicians in the Santa Rosa and greater Sonoma County area. International tours have taken the ensemble to China (2015), Austria & Hungary (2018), Spain (2022), and Germany & the Netherlands (2025), showcasing the high level of artistry and commitment from these young musicians.
