Sara Davis Buechner is an internationally acclaimed pianist whose career began after winning top prizes at prestigious competitions including the Queen Elisabeth, Leeds, Gina Bachauer Gold Medal, and Tschaikowsky. Based in Newark, New Jersey, she combines a vibrant performance schedule with a deep commitment to education. She serves as Piano Chair at Greenwich House Music School, as a Professor of Piano at Temple University, and as an Adjunct Professor at NYU. Her performances span orchestral collaborations, film-score premieres, and notable world premieres, with a distinguished discography featuring complete works for Miklós Rózsa, Stephen Foster, Rudolf Friml, and Gershwin originals and transcriptions.
