Biography
Sea Wolf is the creative alter ego of Alex Brown Church, a Los Angeles–based songwriter whose work blends cinematic arrangements with intimate lyric storytelling. The project’s sound has evolved from the debut Leaves in the River (2007) on Dangerbird Records, which climbed onto the Billboard Heatseekers chart at No. 24, into more expansive arrangements on subsequent releases. Church’s music often complements lush guitar textures with melancholic melodies, situating Sea Wolf at the intersection of indie folk and indie pop.
