Shanxi University Art Troupe Tickets

The Shanxi University Art Troupe is a distinguished performer group affiliated with Shanxi University Music College, dedicated to Jinju opera and traditional Chinese music. Through collaborations with national cultural initiatives and the Jinju Art Culture Inheritance Base, the troupe brings rich heritage to classrooms, concert halls, and campus stages. Their program supports Jinju heritage while delivering engaging performances for students and regional audiences.

Based in Taiyuan, Shaanxi? (Note: Shanxi Province), the troupe actively participates in on-campus concerts, museum field trips, and national arts funding projects. Their work helps preserve Jinju opera and related traditional forms, expanding access to traditional Chinese music across university communities.

Upcoming in 2025, the Shanxi University Art Troupe will perform on campus and at affiliated venues, including the Mao Zedong Poem Jinju Opera Works Music Concert at Shanxi University Da Tong Campus Music Hall on May 7, 2025, and a campus run of Youth Song (Jinju-influenced) at East Mountain Campus’ Ji Li Gymnasium from November 4–9, 2025 (eight performances). A second Mao Zedong Poem Jinju Opera Works Music Concert is scheduled for November 28, 2025, at the Da Tong Campus Music Hall. The troupe will also join a Jinju Museum field trip on June 15, 2025 to Taigu’s Jinju Museum and engage in national arts funding initiatives, including National Art Fund programs for Jinju-related music projects.
