Show-Me Opera Tickets

Show-Me Opera is the student-operated opera ensemble of the University of Missouri School of Music. Open to undergraduate and graduate singers through auditions, the group blends rigorous academic study with practical performance experience. Led by Co-Directors Christina Ray and Steven Tharp, Show-Me Opera presents a fall scenes program and a spring fully staged opera with the University Symphony Orchestra, including a cabaret component for added variety. Most performances take place at the Missouri Theatre in Columbia, MO, with outreach to local schools as part of the program’s community engagement.

Past productions include Ariodante (2024), The Yeomen of the Guard (2025), and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2023).
