Sir Michael Rocks, born Antoine Amari Reed on December 24, 1987 in Matteson, Illinois, is a cornerstone of modern hip hop. Co-founding The Cool Kids with Chuck Inglish in 2005, Rocks helped redefine underground rap with a signature laid-back flow and sharp wordplay. The duo earned early critical acclaim, including a citation from Rolling Stone as an Artist to Watch in 2008. As a solo artist, Rocks released Banco in 2014 on the 6 Cell Phones label, followed by Broken Window of Opportunity in 2020 on Propelr Music.
