Shellshag is a DIY two-piece punk-pop outfit formed in 1997 by Jen Shagawat (Shag) and John 'Shellhead' Driver. Known for facing-each-other during high-energy, jangly live performances, they’ve built a distinctive sound that sits at the intersection of punk rock and pop punk. With a career spanning over two decades, Shellshag has contributed to music culture beyond the stage as executive producers on the documentary Here To Be Heard: The Story of The Slits, and their track Face to Face has found a home as the theme song for Chris Gethard’s Beautiful Stories From Anonymous People, highlighting their reach beyond live venues.
