Sketchfest is San Francisco’s flagship celebration of sketch comedy, improv, stand-up, and cult TV/film tributes. Founded in 2001 by David Owen, Cole Stratton, and Janet Varney, the festival launched the following year and has since become a cornerstone of the Bay Area’s performing arts scene. Each year, Sketchfest brings together hundreds of performers across multiple venues to deliver a diverse slate of live shows, podcasts, and musical performances.
