Founded in 2007, Sled Island is Calgary's beloved multi-venue, five-day music and arts festival. Each year, the city hosts 200+ bands across 30+ venues, plus comedy, film, and art installations that transform Calgary into a dynamic cultural hub. In 2025, the festival welcomes a guest curator, Otoboke Beaver, and runs from June 18–22 across multiple venues in Calgary. With tens of thousands of attendees (commonly 25,000–30,000), Sled Island stands out as one of Canada’s top music experiences per CBC Radio 3.
