Snap Contemporary Mystery Performance is a pioneering non-verbal magic theatre experience that weaves illusion, mime, and visual storytelling into a single, immersive stage presence. With a seven-performer core on stage and touring casts typically ranging from 13 to 14, the show runs about 70 minutes and visits venues with capacities commonly between 400 and 1,200 seats. The production has earned critical acclaim worldwide, including the Edinburgh Fringe Best Production Award (2016) and the DIMF Dreammakers Awards – Performance Grand Prize (2018). In 2021, the company received the Busan International Magic Festival Special Award, and in 2019 the Korean Ministry of Culture recognized their contributions to the arts. The US premiere took place at The New Victory Theater in New York City, running from April 12–28, 2019, and since then the touring footprint has expanded across North America with multiple tours in 2022 and 2024, including six theatres on the 2024 U.S. tour. Gruejarm Productions continues to spotlight Snap, with 2025 projects such as Waves from Busan in New York and BPAM involvement on the horizon.
