Soho Cinders is a contemporary, Soho-set reimagining of the Cinderella story from the writing team of George Stiles (music), Anthony Drewe (lyrics/book), with Elliot Davis as co-author on select materials. The show centers on Robbie, a rent-boy, and his evolving relationship with a mayoral candidate, James Prince. This clever, urban musical blends modern romance with sharp wit, offering a fresh take on a timeless tale.

Originating with a gala concert at the Queen's Theatre in London on October 9, 2011, Soho Cinders moved to a full West End Off-West End run at the Soho Theatre in 2012. The production has seen multiple revivals, including a 2016 Off-West End run at the Union Theatre and a 2019-2020 revival at Charing Cross Theatre. The show also reached the United States with a Dallas premiere in 2014. Internationally, Germany hosted first a German-language version in Osnabrück (2022) and later a German production in Ettlingen (2023, titled Soho Cinderella). A 2025 itinerary includes Ettlingen (Schlossfestspiele) in June and Frechen (Stadtsaal Frechen) in July, continuing Soho Cinders’ global footprint.

Soho Cinders has earned recognition, including NAMT consideration and WhatsOnStage nominations for Best New Musical and Best Supporting Actress in 2013, along with Offies nominations in 2019.
