Solomonic Reggaestra is a pivotal Reggae project rooted in honoring Bunny Wailer’s legacy. Credited for instrumental material and intros on a 1998 Bunny Wailer live release (Palookaville, Santa Cruz), the ensemble evolved into a formal tribute concept. NoHo Arts District notes that Solomonic Reggaestra formed the Reggaestra project to pay homage to Bunny Wailer and feature a 14-track tribute with PicStitch involvement. Lead by PicStitch, the Reggaestra released Tribute to Bunny Wailer in 2021, distributed by Picaxe Production, and this work has been acknowledged by Reggaeville and Apple Music as a formal album release. The group has performed alongside Bunny Wailer onstage in 2014 at Amsterdam Paradiso, and backed acts in Colombia in 2015, with continued activity through 2025 at Rootsman Skankin events in Kingston for Bunny Wailer’s Earthstrong day.
