Somergloom is more than a performer—it's a movement born in the pandemic era. Founded in 2021 by Stephen LoVerme, with early co-production help from ONCE Somerville’s JJ Gonson, the project began as a festival brightening an empty parking lot in Somerville, MA. Since then, Somergloom has grown into a multi-night festival and a recognized name in heavy, experimental circles, bringing together bands like Sumac, Body Void, The Keening, Morne, and Chepang for immersive, cathartic evenings.
