Somnole Tickets

Somnole is a captivating contemporary dance solo created and performed by Boris Charmatz as part of Terrain. Premiered in 2021 at Opéra de Lille during a Centre [terrain] collaboration, the piece unfolds over roughly 60 minutes, guided by breath and whistling, with live or precomposed melodic material serving as the cue for movement. Charmatz, a prolific choreographer and director of Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch, brings his distinctive approach to the stage, blending breath, sound, and movement into an intimate, immersive experience.
