Soul Music Celebration is a vibrant performer project led by vocalist Elissa Carmona alongside the award-winning Bronx-based soul collective MBP. In 2021, Soul Music Celebration presented a six-concert series in partnership with the Bronx Music Heritage Center and Partnership for Parks, showcasing a blend of original material, beloved covers, and select collaborations. MBP has been named Best Cover Band from the Bronx in 2022, 2023, and 2025, while Carmona was voted Best Singer from the Bronx in 2024 and 2025, underscoring the collective’s impact on the local scene.

The 2025 Soul Expedition expands the footprint to 15 concerts from February to October, bringing the sound to NYC-wide community venues and residencies, including The Artist on City Island and Shrine Harlem. This ongoing partnership with Bronx cultural groups continues to highlight authentic, soulful performances for diverse audiences.
