Led by faculty and guest coaches from the Michigan State University College of Music, SYWS blends rigorous preparation with a collaborative, growth-focused mindset. Rehearsals take place Sundays from 2:00–5:30 p.m. in the MSU College of Music building, with performances staged at the Wharton Center or Fairchild Theatre. The season culminates in joint concerts with the MSU Wind Symphony or Symphony Band, bringing together student musicians and university ensembles for memorable concert experiences.
