Stages Chicago Tickets

Stages Chicago is a Chicago-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to making high-quality performing arts accessible to children and families. Since its founding in 2016 and 2021 501(c)(3) designation, the organization has grown into a trusted hub for developmentally appropriate music classes, Broadway prep, after-school residencies, day camps, and school partnerships. Led by founder and executive director Emily Pinas Schakowsky—an NYU Steinhardt graduate with both a B.M. in Music Theatre and an MS in Child Development from Erikson Institute—the program emphasizes inclusive, representative, and engaging arts experiences for all ages and abilities.

Upcoming milestones for Stages Chicago include the 2025–2026 season, featuring spring musical classes with performances slated for The Biograph Theater in Lincoln Park (May 2026) and related residencies at Soul City Church (West Loop) and The Drucker Center (Lincoln Park). Enrollment for Spring Musical classes opened December 1, 2025, with a free trial week January 5–10, 2026. The organization’s programs are integrated with larger Chicago arts ecosystems, including partnerships with Broadway in Chicago.
