Steely Dane is a premier Steely Dan tribute band born in 2010 when co-founders David Adler and David Stoler (the Steely Daves) brought a high-energy, meticulously arranged tribute show to Madison, Wisconsin. Over the years, the group expanded into a 14-member collective featuring a four-piece horn section, two female backup singers, two keyboards, guitars, percussion, and vibes. This setup enables full-album performances with the precision and sophistication fans have come to expect from Steely Dan's catalog.
