Steely Dane Tickets

Steely Dane is a premier Steely Dan tribute band born in 2010 when co-founders David Adler and David Stoler (the Steely Daves) brought a high-energy, meticulously arranged tribute show to Madison, Wisconsin. Over the years, the group expanded into a 14-member collective featuring a four-piece horn section, two female backup singers, two keyboards, guitars, percussion, and vibes. This setup enables full-album performances with the precision and sophistication fans have come to expect from Steely Dan's catalog.

Recognized as one of the region’s top tribute acts, Steely Dane has earned multiple Best Tribute Band (MAMA) awards and Madison Magazine’s Best Cover Band honors. Members boast national and international credits and some hold Grammy nominations, underscoring the ensemble’s musical depth and professional pedigree. While the band does not release original studio material under its name, their live performances faithfully reproduce studio recordings and album-side classics with exceptional detail and musicianship.

Upcoming 2025 tour highlights include stops across Wisconsin and the Midwest. Secure your seats for performances at The Pabst Theater in Milwaukee, Stoughton Opera House, The Mabel Tainter, The Parkway Theater in Minneapolis, Atwood Fest in Madison, The Dixon, Martyrs in Chicago, and the Orpheum Theater in Madison. Whether you’re revisiting classic Steely Dan LP sides or experiencing them live for the first time, Steely Dane offers an immersive, professional show that captures the studio magic in a live setting.
