The Stu Hamm Band brings a masterclass in electric bass, blending fusion, rock, jazz, and classical influences into high-energy performances. Born February 8, 1960 in New Orleans, Stu Hamm studied at Berklee College of Music and rose to prominence touring and recording with guitar icons Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. Known for advanced techniques like two-handed tapping, Hamm has collaborated with notable players such as Frank Gambale and Eric Johnson, and he’s been central to projects like the GHS trio with Gambale and Steve Smith, as well as the Bx3 tour series.
