From the vibrant streets of New York City to the concert halls around the world, Sujari Britt stands as a dynamic force in classical music. A native New Yorker with a rigorous training pedigree, she holds a Bachelor of Music in Classical Cello Performance from the Manhattan School of Music, a Master’s in Classical Cello from the Sibelius Academy, and a Professional Diploma in Cello/Composition from the Royal Academy of Music. Sujari has appeared as a soloist with numerous orchestras, performed as a repeat Carnegie Hall soloist, and even graced the White House for President Obama. Off stage, she co-founded and serves as Artistic Director/Director of Media for Accademia Filarmonica del Mediterraneo in Trani, Italy, shaping festival programming and masterclasses. Her instrument—an exquisite 1718 Neuner and Hornsteiner cello loaned by the Carlsen Cello Foundation—is a key part of her sound, contributing to performances that blend technical precision with expressive depth.
