Symphony of Northwest Arkansas (SoNA) is the resident professional orchestra at Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Since 2010, Paul Haas has served as Music Director, shaping SoNA into a cornerstone of the region’s cultural life. Known for immersive performances and community engagement, SoNA performs a full season of masterworks and contemporary pieces, while also offering SoNA Beyond—a series of free or low-cost events that reach across Northwest Arkansas. Upcoming plans for SoNA include the 2025–26 mainstage season at Walton Arts Center, beginning September 20, 2025 with Celestial Visions: Symphonie Fantastique, featuring guest conductors and renowned soloists. In addition to concert performances, SoNA releases new recordings—highlighted by the June 9, 2023 debut album New Canons, which includes the first commercial recordings of Latency Canons, Cohere I, and In saecula saeculorum.
