The Tacoma Symphony Orchestra, originally founded in 1946 as the College of Puget Sound Symphony Orchestra, has grown from a student ensemble into a professional, community-focused orchestra. Rebranded as Symphony Tacoma in 2016, the orchestra continues a rich tradition of musical excellence at the heart of Tacoma, Washington. With a core season of six classical concerts at the historic Pantages Theater, festive holiday choral pops, and beloved Handel's Messiah, Symphony Tacoma also invests in education through programs like Mini Maestros, Simply Symphonic, and Symphony2U. Whether you’re a longtime subscriber or discovering the orchestra for the first time, you’ll find engaging performances and reliable ticket access with us.
