Tahmoures Pournazeri, born February 8, 1977 in Kermanshah, Iran, is a pivotal figure in modern Persian classical and fusion music. As a member of the storied Pournazeri family (son of Kaykhosro and brother of Sohrab), he has contributed to the shaping of contemporary Iranian soundscapes through traditional instruments like the tanbour, tar, setar, and daf.
