In 2023, Tailgunner released their debut album Guns for Hire, which arrived on July 14, 2023 through Fireflash Records. The record captured attention across the UK indie scene and peaked at #50 on the Official Independent Albums Chart in the UK. The momentum continued as Napalm Records signed Tailgunner in 2025, bringing in famed producer KK Downing to help craft the second studio album, Midnight Blitz, which was released on February 6, 2026. The band’s forward-looking approach has seen 2024 UK dates with Armored Saint and plans for further UK/Europe tours in 2026, including dates with Fozzy.
