Composer Nkeiru Okoye teams with librettist Carman Moore to weave a vivid musical tapestry that blends jazz, blues, and gospel with modern concert music. Rooted in African folk tales featuring Bre’r Rabbit and Bre’r Fox, this work offers both lyrical storytelling and bold orchestration across its three parts.
