The project emerged in Spokane with original members Kendall Feeney (piano), Patricia Bartell (accordion), Tana Bland-Bachman (violin), and Eugene Jablonsky (bass). After Feeney’s passing in 2017, the group continued under Kendall Feeney’s legacy, becoming a notable Spokane tango institution. Today, Tango Volcado features a core lineup that includes Jody Graves on piano, Tana Bland-Bachman on violin, Patricia Bartell on accordion, and Eugene Jablonsky on bass cello. The band’s repertoire spans nuevo tango and tango-inspired crossover material, inviting audiences to experience tango with contemporary textures.
