Teenage Head, formed in 1975 in Hamilton, Ontario, is widely regarded as one of Canada’s most influential punk bands. With a raw, garage-forward sound built around gritty guitar and street-wise energy, they helped shape the Canadian rock landscape from their debut in 1979 through the 1980s and beyond. The band’s early work, especially their self-titled debut and the platinum-certified Frantic City, cemented their status as pioneers of punk-infused rock in Canada. Over the years, Teenage Head has continued to evolve, reimagining classic tracks with new collaborators, while preserving the raw spirit that defined their origin story.
