The Antonio Adolfo Quintet brings the bright, intricate language of Brazilian jazz to stages around the world. Led by Antonio Adolfo, a Rio de Janeiro native whose career spans more than five decades, this ensemble blends samba-bossa nuance with modern jazz harmony. From forming Trio 3-D in 1964 to leading resilient Quintet lineups, Adolfo has collaborated with Brazilian icons like Elis Regina and Milton Nascimento, and he runs Centro Musical Antonio Adolfo in Rio. His work has earned multiple Latin Grammy nominations and a Grammy nod, underscoring his influence in both jazz and Brazilian music scenes.
