The City Choir of Washington is a 140-member professional-level volunteer choir based in Washington, DC. Since 2022, Artistic Director Erin Freeman has led the ensemble, following the tenure of Robert Shafer. The choir specializes in classical and choral repertoire, delivering major works and thematic programs across the DC metropolitan area with a commitment to artistic excellence, community engagement, and accessible live performance.

Upcoming highlights include a 2025–26 season titled "A Place for All," featuring concerts such as A Viennese Apartment (Nov 16, 2025, National Presbyterian Church), 100 Years of Great American Song (Mar 23, 2025, Church of the Epiphany), 3 B's (Jun 1, 2025, National Presbyterian Church), Sacred Spaces (Jan 25, 2026, Church of the Epiphany), The Music Man (Apr 12, 2026, Schlesinger Concert Hall), and Bach Mass in B Minor (May 31, 2026, National Presbyterian Church). The choir also embarks on a 2025 Brazil Tour from June 22–29, 2025, including a São Paulo performance at Sala São Paulo (June 25) and two a cappella concerts in Rio de Janeiro (June 27–28), invited by Mozarteum Brasileiro.
