The Comedians with Disabilities Act (CWDA) is a groundbreaking comedy troupe known for rotating lineups and bold, insightful humor. Founded in 2010 by Michael O’Connell and later joined by Steve Danner and Nina G, CWDA builds on a mission to entertain, empower, and normalize disability representation in stand-up and sketches. After Michael O’Connell’s passing in 2016, CWDA has continued with a dynamic roster, expanding its footprint in the comedy world with new projects and live performances.
