The Moment emerged from the UK’s mod revival in the 1980s, rooted in Haverhill. Their early singles— In This Town (1984), One, Two They Fly (1985), and Ready To Fall (1988)—along with the 1985 LP The Work Gets Done, established them as a defining act of the era. The compilation Mod Gods: The Best Of The Moment helped immortalize their sound in 1986 and again in 1996. After years of activity, the band reformed in 2016, continuing to perform live and work with faithful fans and new audiences alike.
