Martin has a long career as a sacred publishing executive (Hal Leonard/Shawnee Press) and a prolific composer with nearly 40 choral cantatas. His works have graced venues like Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. The collaboration Make My Life a Blessing, co-authored with Martin and Choplin, was published by Shawnee Press in 2007, marking a historic union of two influential voices in sacred music.
