The North Jersey Indie Rock Festival (NJIRF) brought together Jersey and New York’s vibrant indie scene through a collaborative two-label showcase featuring Mint 400 Records and Sniffling Indie Kids. From its inception in 2016 through its final edition in 2018, NJIRF highlighted a rotating lineup of bands from its rosters, delivering two years of headlining vibes at Cathedral Hall and the ultimate finale at White Eagle Hall in Jersey City. Founded by Frank DeFranco of Sniffling Indie Kids and Neil Sabatino of Mint 400 Records, NJIRF stood out as a community-driven celebration of local talent, with a strong emphasis on discovery and collaboration. While there has been no announced revival for 2025, the festival’s legacy continues to resonate with fans of the region’s indie rock scene.
