The Organ Symphony is a distinctive contemporary classical project that textures five personal narratives—heart, lungs, brain, kidneys, and liver—into an evolving orchestral journey. Conducted and composed by David Owen Norris, with production from Maia Miller-Lewis and executive production by Jo Rowntree, the performance brings together the BBC Concert Orchestra and the BBC Singers for a one-of-a-kind sonic experience. In March 2025, this concept was captured at BBC Maida Vale Studios, later released as a BBC Radio 4 programme alongside accompanying SoundCloud content. This page provides a detailed biography, highlights from the discography, and information about the 2025 recording activities.
