About The Raveonettes
The Raveonettes were formed in Copenhagen in 2001 by Sune Rose Wagner (guitar, vocals) and Sharin Foo (bass, vocals). Their sound fuses indie rock, noise pop, garage grit, and shoegaze-level guitars with haunting two-part harmonies and noir-inspired lyricism. The band earned the Danish Music Award for Best Rock Album in 2003 for Whip It On, a defining release that helped shape early 2000s alternative rock.
