The Village Prairie Tickets

Formed in 2018 in Prairie Village, Kansas, The Village Prairie is a collaborative project led by songwriter Kyle Aaron and a rotating cast of talented musicians, now featuring Dan Kiddle, Tony Batenhorst, Joe Mentesana, Nicki White and Leo Johns. The band's sound blends Americana with elements of classic rock, country, blues, and folk, rooted in solid songwriting and engaging live performances. Lead by a love of storytelling, The Village Prairie released their debut album Bolt From the Blue in 2024, produced by Matt Richards and recorded at Avenue Record Company. The record, released on Albia Records, drew praise for its thoughtful melodies, soulful grooves, and genre-spanning textures. The band followed with a sophomore release, Before the Devil, slated for 2025, with a May 8, 2025 Bandcamp listing and confirmation from Apple Music of a 2025 Albia Records release. The lead single Shovel dropped around March 2025 and is available across major platforms.

For fans in Kansas City and beyond, The Village Prairie offers a live show that lands squarely in the moment—tight performances, strong harmonies, and a connection to the Midwest’s storytelling tradition. Their 2025 tour includes notable Kansas City stops at Knuckleheads (May 9 release show and an indoor date on Nov 19), the Boulevard Early Show (May 28), and a Plaza Art Fair appearance (Sept 21), along with additional regional appearances listed on Bandsintown and local calendars.
