Think In French is a Reno-born DIY noise rock/punk project that emerged in 2004 from a tight-knit group including Clint Neuerburg, Kyle Akins, Mike Modene, and Patrick Burkett. Grounded in the West Coast touring ethos and a hands-on approach to making and releasing music, the band released their self-titled Think In French EP in 2006 and followed with the full-length Citizens of Blessed Surroundings in 2006. Both records were released through the Humaniterrorist label and collective, an indie operation they've continued to support for Reno artists and beyond. In 2021, they returned with Marigold, released via the Humaniterrorist Record Collective, showcasing tracks like Pentecostal Snakes and Rabbit in the Wolf on Bandcamp. Think In French blends noise rock and punk, drawing inspiration from Sonic Youth and Fugazi while maintaining a DIY touring sensibility that has taken them across the West Coast, including notable stops at DenverFest 3 and other regional venues. The band’s social footprint remains focused on Bandcamp, where fans can explore both historical releases and new material.
