Thomas Milovac (b. 1997) is a bassist, composer, and improviser based in Orlando, Florida. He leads the Thomas Milovac Quartet, as well as a Sextet and Ensemble, and founded the Cosmo Sonic Collective (CSC). Milovac’s music sits at a crossroads between traditional jazz language and fearless experimental improvisation, creating accessible tunes that can swiftly giving way to ferocious avant-garde moments. He’s an active figure in Florida’s vibrant jazz scene, bringing daring original music to intimate clubs and regional venues alike.

Milovac’s work spans multiple formats—from intimate solo and small-group explorations to large-ensemble textures—reflecting a lifelong interest in how rhythm, melody, and texture can evolve in real time. His approach emphasizes collaboration, openness to chance, and this sense of community is amplified through CSC, a platform dedicated to releasing and improvised music with like-minded artists.
