Tim Placher's A Rock N Roll Songbook, Plus! Tickets

Tim Placher is a cornerstone of Joliet’s vibrant music scene. As choir director at Drauden Point Middle School since 2004 and a former Joliet city attorney and journalist, Tim combines musical expertise with community leadership. He founded and produces Tim Placher's Rock N Roll Songbook, Plus! concerts at the Rialto Square Theatre, bringing together 30+ local musicians for spirited, nostalgia-filled performances. In addition to staging concerts, Tim organizes Porch & Park Music Fest, a multi-porch community event in Joliet's Cathedral Area, and launched Nashville on the Hill at Bishops Hill Winery, expanding the region’s live music offerings. Tim’s work has earned recognition, including the Project Acclaim Award in 2021 for promoting local music in the Plainfield/Joliet area.
