Tommy Orange is a nationally acclaimed writer known for weaving urban Indigenous storytelling with historical and contemporary themes. Born January 19, 1982, and an enrolled member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes, Orange holds an MFA from the Institute of American Indian Arts and currently lives in Oakland. His work has earned widespread critical acclaim and a growing audience for vivid character-driven narratives that explore identity, community, and resilience.
